With sadness in our hearts we announce that the original co-founder, Eleanor Mason, has passed away. She opened the store in 1971 with her late husband, Charles Mason. Together they brought Contemporary & Modern furniture to the Louisville market & 51 years later the store is still thriving.
She enjoyed purchasing accessories for the store, traveling to different shows to obtain the best quality products; all with design in mind. She also enjoyed being our bookkeeper & balancing them to the penny. Most of all she enjoyed meeting her customers.
Eleanor will be truly missed but not forgotten & the legacy continues on with her two sons operating the business today.
