I felt compelled to come here as I was cleaning my 4-year old sectional sofa that I got from Contemporary Galleries I was thinking to myself, man, I did ask the sales person for a non-leather but leather looking material that could hold up to the abuse of 3 big dogs… and she really did know her stuff, she suggested a material (I can’t even remember the weird name for it) but it looks like leather. Feels like leather. And 4 years later and not a single scratch and my dudes are super hard on it. Come in from the rain, jump and play on it, scratch around blankets to get them comfortable on it and still no claw marks. I think about this from time to time but man she really did give me the best recommendation. I would’ve never thought to try this material on my own, it wasn’t even on my list at the time of materials to look for. So yeah, kudos.
